After seeing our Aruba plans squashed due to the pandemic, we decided to take a trip south for Tara’s birthday. It would be our first time staying on Fort Myers Beach, and wow, were we glad we did. What a fantastic place!
The flight down was uneventful. The plane was only about half full, so we had plenty of room. Upon arrival, we were blessed with a free upgrade to our car, and soon we were cruising down S. Tamiami Trail in our sporty Dodge Charger. The VRBO owners advised us to enter the island chain via the bridge to Bonita Beach as it was closer to Estero Beach and Tennis Club. The condo is located on the southern end of FMB, near Lovers Key.
Our studio condo was located on the 10th floor facing the breathtaking Gulf of Mexico.
